MC4-compatible branch connectors (Y/T-type) that enable parallel connection of multiple solar panel strings, supporting higher-current PV array configurations.
A branch connector merges or splits DC circuits at the array, letting two or more strings be paralleled before the run back to the combiner. Y-type geometry pairs two inputs into one output; T-type geometry splits one circuit into two. Both remove the need for a separate junction enclosure at the merge point.
Series-1 is rated 1000 V and 45 A and is available in multiple B4 configurations; Series-2 is rated 1500 V and 60 A across 2F/M to 6F/M configurations. The number in the configuration code is the number of poles — check it against how many strings you are actually paralleling, because a branch connector only ever merges what its pole count allows.

Values are the mated-pair ratings from our published datasheets. Where a field is blank, that variant does not specify it — ask us and we will confirm against the drawing for your configuration.
Branch connectors suit small arrays where two or three strings are paralleled at the point of the array, and where there is no need for per-string fusing or monitoring. Once you need fused string protection, a DC disconnect, or string-level current monitoring, a combiner box is the correct choice — those functions have nowhere to live in a branch connector.
The configuration code gives the number of poles and the contact gender arrangement. F and M indicate the gender of each pole in the assembly, and the leading number is the pole count. Match the code to the number of strings being merged and to the gender of the connectors already on those strings, so the assembly plugs straight in.
The overall rating is the limit for the assembly, not a per-leg allowance. Series-2 at 60 A means the combined current through the assembly must stay at or below 60 A; if three strings of 15 A are paralleled, the merged leg carries 45 A and the assembly is within rating.
