Solar fuse connectors with integrated DC fuses for overcurrent protection of PV strings, rated 1000 V/1500 V DC with current ratings from 15 A to 30 A.
A fuse connector puts string overcurrent protection directly on the DC cable, in a weatherproof housing that mates with the standard PV connector interface. It replaces a separate fuse holder and its enclosure, which removes two connection points and the extra cable length between them — both common sources of voltage drop and water ingress on a rooftop array.
The range covers both common fuse sizes. F4C-200-1085 and F4C-201-1085 take the 10.3 × 85 mm fuse and are rated 1500 V with 1 to 30 A fuses; F4C-212-1038 takes the compact 10.3 × 38 mm fuse at 1000 V/1100 V TÜV. All three are IP68 in the mated condition with contact resistance below 0.5 mΩ.

Values are the mated-pair ratings from our published datasheets. Where a field is blank, that variant does not specify it — ask us and we will confirm against the drawing for your configuration.
The fuse must carry the string current continuously and still open on a fault. Work from the module Isc: the usual rule is to rate at 1.25× Isc and stay within the module series-fuse rating, then check that the fuse holds at the highest expected ambient. Oversizing for temperature is the usual mistake — it delays clearing on a genuine fault.
The physical size follows the voltage and breaking capacity you need. The 85 mm body carries the 1500 V rating; the compact 38 mm body is rated 1000 V/1100 V. If the array runs at 1500 V DC, use the 85 mm version.
The mated interface follows the same PV connector construction as the rest of the range, and the fuse element is a separate certified component. Check both: the connector standard covers the housing and contact, while the fuse has its own rating for voltage, current and breaking capacity.
